Upcoming Shows!
From gut-busting stand-up to fearless improv and boundary-pushing storytelling, Good Camel Comedy Theater curates events that speak truth to power through laughter. We spotlight BIPOC artists, queer voices, and bold perspectives that don’t always get a mic in traditional spaces.
Expect the unexpected.
Our shows range from monthly jams and comedy festivals to one-night-only performances, workshops, and experimental pop-ups that blend humor with community-building and social commentary.
Looking for what’s next? Check out our upcoming events calendar and pull up. Whether you're on stage or in the crowd, there's always room for you in the Good Camel crew.
March 19
No scripts. No safety net. Just bold, fast,
made-up comedy that hits in real time.
The Twin Cities’ fiercest BIPOC improvisers take the stage for a high-energy showdown where pride, skill, and creative nerve are on full display. All night long, performers battle through lightning-fast games, building scenes from nothing and taking big swings in front of a live crowd that can feel the tension rising.
The audience watches it unfold. The energy builds. At the end of the show, the cast votes. Each performer chooses the improviser who impressed them most that night. No mid-show eliminations. No gimmicks. Just one final decision. One crown. Chosen by peers.
A space where BIPOC artists lead, create, and celebrate each other on their own terms. Fast. Funny. Fearless. Come for the battle.
Good Camel Live is a live comedy show featuring improv, storytelling, and stand-up every first Wednesday of the month.
A core ensemble performs alongside a rotating guest storyteller or comic, who performs two longer sets and closes the night.
The improv is created on the spot and shaped by current events. The stories are personal. The comedy is political and rooted in lived experience.
Some moments are hilarious. Some moments are real. No matter what happens, it is honest and happening live. BIPOC curated but open to all.

The show is always FREE.
We believe in equity in the arts—no one should be priced out of joy. That said, donations are deeply appreciated. If you're the kind of person who likes a nudge, we suggest $15 per person.
And yes, our performers get paid—from the box office proceeds. The pot gets split, so the more of y’all that show up (and chip in), the better our artists are paid for their labor—uh, we mean, craft. 😉
