Supportive, playful, and people-first. This class is rooted in joy and care, with a focus on building confidence and community as much as comedy. Expect laughter, encouragement, and a space where showing up as your full self is the only requirement.
You’ll learn core improv tools:
• Building characters that reflect who you are
• Playing together in scenes and games
• Saying yes (and when to say no)
• Telling your truth while having fun
Each week will focus on a different improv theme and practice, play, and performance skills, leading to a final short-form showcase where you’ll perform on stage with your classmates in front of a supportive crowd.
This class is joyful, but it’s also about care, confidence, and community. Led by Angelique and Linc Owens, you’ll be guided by experienced facilitators who understand the importance of representation, culture, and trust in improv spaces. -
